Entries for the 2013 Harrison Art Show are now open.
Last year the inaugural Harrison Art Show was an extremely successful event with more than 200 guests over the two days and around 13 per cent of artworks sold. This year, we are building on last year’s success with extended opening hours and wider publicity.
Entries for this year’s event are now open and will close on Friday June 21. Artists are invited to enter up to five pieces of artwork. Interested artists can find the entry form as well as the terms and conditions on our website at www.harrisonartshow.com/information-for-artists.html.
This year we have also partnered with My Gungahlin to offer the My Gungahlin Art Prize, worth $200, the conditions for that prize are also attached.
People’s Choice Credit Union Gungahlin will be sponsoring the People’s Choice Award to the value of $350. Additionally this year Aarwun Gallery are offering all entering artists a 20 per cent discount voucher at ‘The Framers’ in Gold Creek. The voucher will be available in electronic format upon receipt of paid entry.
The Harrison Art Show will be held in the Senior Performing Art Centre on the weekend of June 28 – 30, 2013. Opening Night will commence at 7pm on Friday June 28 June 2013.
