About Peter Clack
Peter Clack is the author of Firestorm Trial by Fire, a compelling account of the 2003 Canberra fire disaster, drawn from first-hand accounts from police and firefighters. He is a former journalist with some 20 years' experience covering policing, crime and politics. In particular, he provided extensive news coverage for The Canberra Times from 1990 to 2004 covering local and national affairs. Since 2004 Peter has worked in national communications management, public affairs and marketing, including website management and media management (see Clack Media). He was awarded a Churchill fellowship in 1995 to study crime reporting in the United States, the United Kingdom and Great Britain.
