Bargain tripods at Ted's

In Ted’s Cameras (Canberra Centre) this morning I noticed tripods being sold for $30.

“What’s wrong with them?” I asked the helpful salesgirl.

“Umm, nothing, they’re just a christmas special” She replied.

So I thought “what the hell”. I have to say I was very impressed when I took it out at home. Sure it’s a relatively flimsy thing but it’s fully featured and even comes with carry bag, you can’t normally buy a carry bag for $30 at Ted’s let alone with something useful in it.

No, this isn’t a paid endorsement, I just thought the budding photographers out there would be interested, I know I was.
