Agenda for Annual General Meeting – 18 November 2014.

The BCC received the following nominations for vacant committee positions at the 2014 AGM. All nominations are from members eligible to serve on the committee positions for which they have been nominated. As the number of nominations is equal to the number of available positions, all candidates are accepted for the positions they have been nominated for. No election will be required at the 2014 AGM.

3. Address by BCC Chair

Closing remarks by outgoing Chair and opening remarks by incoming Chair.

4. Presentation: Disability Confidence Canberra.

Disability Confidence Canberra is a speaking circuit for an education and awareness program delivered by the ACT Inclusion Council. The talk will include the launch of their Manual and Checklist, which provides an idea of what good access means. A list of tasks and a checklist assist organisations to build confident access for people with disability and those who are ageing.

5. Presentation: Wayfarer Building – Geocon

Rob Purdon and Associates will make a brief presentation on the Wayfarer building by Geocon to be built on Block 8, Section 47.

Next meeting: 9 December 2014, 7:30pm

Note: the December meeting will be held at the Raiders Club in Kippax – and will be devoted to West Belconnen issues. Please check our website and Facebook page for details closer to the date.
