ABC Online is reporting that Wild Bill Stefaniak is denying all knowledge of leadership offers by the Wily Mulcahy attempting to lure him from the side of Brendan “Speed Cameras” Smyth.
We covered the wild crikey rumours to this effect last week.
Mr Stefaniak says he knows nothing about claims he has been offered the Liberal leadership.
“Apparently according to Crikey.com or whatever, I’m supposed to have been approached by several MLAs in relation to me being leader, and if that’s the case then its news to me,” he said.
I suspect even Bill is smart enough to know his leadership would be short lived once the Smyth function was smashed.
