Appearing at the Old Canberra Inn, Lyneham on Saturday July 30 will be ‘The Marji Curran Trio’ supported by Aaron Peacey & Adam Hole in what should be a fantastic night of Blues Roots music.

The Marji Curran Trio are one of Australia’s most exciting new roots acts. Marji’s exceptional song writing ability and clean acoustic guitar playing combined with the musical talents of slide guitarist Adam Hole and percussionist/drummer Phoebe Juskevics leave audiences wanting more. Marji sings with unbridled passion, Adam literally makes the slide guitars sing with feel and Phoebe excites the senses with a delightfully experimental approach to percussion.

Marji has been wowing audiences up and down the East Coast of Australia including The Port Fairy Folk Festival and The National Folk Festival. This Trio deliver songs with a powerful edge and an engaging stage chemistry that is luring crowds across Australia. Guest harmonica player on the night will be Bill Cassimaty.

Support act Aaron Peacey is a self-taught musician. His first band was in Coffs Harbour, where he lived for 3 years. He moved to Canberra in 2003 and began making his presence known through solo and band performances. Aaron plays his original songs on electric lap steel guitar with a roots feel.

The music starts at 9pm and entry is free.
