Brumbies gets dressed up pretty for the Centenary

Barcham 26 February 2013 5

Sports fashionistas the Brumbies have revealed their new Centenary Strip to join in with Canberra’s celebrations.

The predominantly gold jersey and socks represent the ACT’s traditional sporting colours, with navy and white blended through to create an attractive kit. Gold and blue are consistent with Centenary of Canberra’s celebrations and logo. The Brumbies will use the new jersey for their next home game against the Waratahs.

I’m too sexy for my socks, too sexy for my socks, too sexy by far.

We know they’re truly loving it, but just don’t want to show it.

But the Brumbies have only been in existence since 1996!

I assumed they were just doing that ‘disinterested’ look they teach models to use on the catwalk.

I quite like it, and my daughter is already performing additional tasks in the hope of getting one for herself. Buckleys, of course, but you’ve got to let the young dream 🙂

Clearly Joe and Nic are quite pleased to be wearing it.
