History will be made on Saturday night at Canberra Stadium. Either the Brumbies will return to winning ways, or they will record the most ignominious defeat in their history at the hands of perennial cellar dwellers South Africa’s Lions.
Qantas have launched the Great Crusade, the ultimate supporters tour of New Zealand, and they’ve given us a double pass to give to our premium members for the Brumbies vs Lions game this Saturday night.
Premium members who’d like the double pass should email john@the-riotact.com before midday Friday to express their interest. It’s not too late to join up (and we really appreciate it).
As an added bonus ACT Veteran’s Rugby have been in touch to let us all know there’s going to be a curtain raiser match:
The ACT Veterans Rugby club is playing the Royal Australian Navy Old Salts in a charity fundraising match as a curtain raiser to the Brumbies v Lions match at Canberra Stadium on Saturday 14 May 2011. The match will be for the iPAMM Cup, sponsored by the Queanbeyan-based Server Racks Australia, with a kick-off at 5:30pm….
Be sure to get to Canberra Stadium early to see a feast of running rugby as Canberra’s over-35s take on the best of the Navy’s old boys, and stay to see the ACT Veterans development squad (also known as the Brumbies) take on the men from the Highveld.
