ACT Policing is seeking the public’s help to locate a heavily modified Holden Commodore (HSV Maloo) ute.

On 8 December 2020, ACT Policing executed search warrants in relation to alleged drug trafficking and proceeds of crime. A man was subsequently arrested and charged with numerous offences.

A number of performance vehicles and other items were seized during this activity and through court orders, police have successfully restrained these vehicles and items.

Police say anyone who is involved in concealing or moving the vehicle may be committing an offence.

Further investigations identified one vehicle which has not been recovered but is subject to a restraint order.

Police are now seeking the public’s assistance to locate the heavily modified blue/purple Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) Maloo ute, which may also have distinctive gold wheels.

Police have emphasised that any person involved in the moving of, or concealing restrained assets may be committing an offence under section 23 of the Confiscation of Criminal Assets Act 2003 (ACT).

Anyone that has information about the location of the ute is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Quote reference 6609388. Information can be provided anonymously.
