Labrador Rescue is calling for volunteers this Christmas to help with the volume of dogs being surrendered to pounds over this period. They are also looking for people to help transport dogs to foster carers in Canberra / Newcastle / Sydney.

I am not affiliated with Lab Rescue but I have two Labs and love them to bits. It’s hard to think about all the dogs leaving their families this Christmas, for whatever reason.
I know ACT Rescue and Foster have put out a similar call for help recently and have also posted here. No doubt all the rescue organisations will be overrun this Christmas, so if you can help, please get in contact with one of them.
