Katy Gallagher announced today that Canberra Centenary’s logo will be stuck onto the side of a yacht in this years Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
They really should be planning these logo carrying events in order of impressiveness. The logo has made it to the Middle East on a banner, then made it onto the International Space Station, but sure, putting it on a boat in Sydney is pretty cool too…

The logo is printed on the racing mainsail of the Canberra-owned 44-footer Namadgi which is currently completing preparations for the gruelling 628 nautical mile Christmas-New Year sail south to Hobart. The crew’s red shirts also sport the Centenary logo.
Chief Minister Katy Gallagher today said that the crew, all Canberrans, would carry the best wishes of the national capital with them in the race.
