Logo!

Katy Gallagher announced today that Canberra Centenary’s logo will be stuck onto the side of a yacht in this years Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

“The Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race is one of Australia’s leading sporting events and captures the attention of many Australians and it is great to see that our centenary logo will be visible on the sail of a Canberra owned

The logo is printed on the racing mainsail of the Canberra-owned 44-footer Namadgi which is currently completing preparations for the gruelling 628 nautical mile Christmas-New Year sail south to Hobart. The crew’s red shirts also sport the Centenary logo.

Chief Minister Katy Gallagher today said that the crew, all Canberrans, would carry the best wishes of the national capital with them in the race.
