The 2010 Corinbank program has landed and its as magnificently diverse as the directors promised, not to mention an absolute monster!
Within this year’s program lay a huge array of performing and visual arts from cabaret to tableaux vivants, and beautiful images of nature on silk. If you prefer having a go yourself, you can jump into a poetry slam or even learn capoeira.
Innovative collaborations are also a feature of the ‘bank in 2010. Give your taste-buds an environmentally sound treat with the Slow Food initiative. It’s all about highlighting the environmental benefits of traditional food practices through a gourmet banquet and interactive workshops.
Corinbank trademarks such as the short film festival, a wide range of creative camps and awareness raising Green Kulture workshops will all be there once more in 2010. The kiddies are certainly not forgotten, with the Kids’ Bank offering a circus playground where they can learn to juggle and twirl, and Kelly Sports have arranged fun activities including soccer and frisbee.
Corinbank happens on February 26-28. Check out the full program, up now on www.corinbank.com
A launch of the program is on Tuesday, February 16 at Civic Square (or King O’Malley’s if the weather should turn) from 12:30 – 1:30. Pop down on your lunch break and celebrate with the Corinbank team.
