Wow – I actually drove past that a few hours after it happened, bu this stage there was a board or something behind the gaping hole to close it off – partner and I were wondering at the time if the homeowners were able to get their things or cars out – due the the crime scene tape cordoning off their property. Now that I’ve discovered what actually happened I hope the home owners are ok!

They were of ‘Islander’ appearance. Let’s not over-analyze that.

WMC, why don’t you go ask the witness(es) to describe them better for you. ‘Cos it’ll really make a difference now. Maybe you can profile them, do a face-fit and track them down to their ancient ancestors.

Seriously – how someone describes someone is simply that – their own description.

I have plenty of Polynesian friends already, thanks. If you mean Polynesian, it’s only one more syllable than ‘Islander’ and makes it clear what you’re talking about.

I can see it now.

It made the 7 news bulletin, they said they the police know who the driver is because the car wasn’t stolen.. they’re still looking for him though.

Guessing the driver was a bit off his face and speeding, the bolt must have been to escape the drink driving conviction too.
