Celebrity hos on 104.7

Kerces 24 November 2006 9

FM 104.7 is running a competition most amusingly named “Celebrity Hos”.

Their website proclaims, “In the lead up to the festive season, Canberra’s 104.7 is getting into the spirit along with some other celebrity ho’s!” (which I read as them calling themselves names).

Unfortunately the competition isn’t quite as exciting as I first thought. It turns out they’ll be playing versions of Santa’s catchphrase voiced by various celebrities. Listeners have to guess who those celebs are for the chance of winning the slightly bizarre prize of a $104 Brand Depot voucher (why the extra $4?).

but ozmreee 1053 has always been announced as ‘ten – fifty three’ so I’d suggest their brand depo voucher would be for $10.53. At least that would pay for tom snows’ K-Y jelly.

its the same amount they’ve been giving away for years for competitions like this one. only it doesnt buy as much as it used to.
maybe we should all be listening to $106.3 cause there is no telling HOW much extra that $1.60 will buy.

yeah, same deal as earlier in the year when they would make it $104 cash.

But alas, It is a brand depot voucher, not exactly worth the 40c phone call.
