If you are used to your bins being picked up on Friday, you will have to hold onto your rubbish for an extra day. Due to Good Friday (30th of March), all waste facilities will be closed, including all businesses operating within the Hume and Mitchell Resource Management Centres.

Bin collections, both waste and recycling, will be picked up on Saturday (31st March) instead.

A wide range of suburbs across Canberra will be impacted this Friday, including:

Acton, Ainslie, Barton, Braddon, Campbell, City, Deakin, Dickson, Downer, Forrest, Franklin, Fyshwick, Griffith, Gungahlin, Hackett, Harrison, Hughes, Kingston, Lyneham, Narrabundah, O’Connor, Pialligo, Red Hill, Reid, Throsby, Turner, and Watson.

Don’t forget to put your bins out this Saturday!
