Christmas comes to Canberra Centre

Kerces 11 November 2006 5

Christmas has come to the Canberra Centre in the form of about a dozen displays with animatronic elves in various parts of Santa’s workshop on show in the top of the “old” part. I thought they looked rather like the window displays of the Elizabeth St David Jones in Sydney.

Santa wasn’t there yesterday, but he did arrive at Westfield Belconnen today so I’m sure he won’t be far away.

I have been looking for some christmas displays and cheer and found this. They look fantastic – are there more and who has made them? Local person or company? Would love to know.

Yeah was just a setting that I didn’t know I had in the graphics card software. Learn something new every day.

Interesting. I’m running a laptop with another flat screen attached. When I view the home page with all the stories the video automatically plays full screen in my 2nd display leaving my primary display alone. Lucky it wasn’t porn being at work and all.

I saw that today. Thought the psycho looking elf elf slamming the car boot down repeatedly on the rat’s neck was a heart warming touch for Christmas… It’s what’s happening on the far right of the video up there.
