- — Climate scientists are saying we need big reductions in carbon emissions or we will have a global warming disaster within a few decades.
— The Rudd Government is failing the Australian people by not taking strong action on climate change. That’s why ordinary Australians are taking action of their own.
— Australia must make the shift from fossil fuels to 100% renewable energy from wind, solar and other available technologies within a decade.
— Australia must take the lead at the Copenhagen Climate Summit in December 2009, which is the world’s best chance to form a strong international agreement that will prevent catastrophic climate change.
