Corinbank Unplugged! @ Honkytonks for a Sunday Session

johnboy 13 July 2012

Facebook has details of a local musical milestone with what could be Hashemoto’s last show.

Pots and Damo have, with various accompaniment, been producing some of the most spellbinding acoustic music in the Canberra scene (2007 podcast with us here).

And they’re doing a benefit gig for the Corinbank team this Sunday before their dynamic pianist Bec Taylor heads off for the Big Apple.

It’s been a while between Corinbeers, so to get warmed up for the Corinbank Take 2 event in November, a series of events are planned, starting this Sunday.

Join us for Hashemoto’s last gig before Bec (and Chris) head out into the big brave world of New York City at Corinbank Unplugged this Sunday at Honkytonks in Garema Place, Civic. Enjoy a beer while listening to the gorgeous sounds of Hashemoto while you can, and keep your eyes peeled for Corinbank magic sprinkled throughout the venue.

Check out the tallbike jousting, learn how to make something funky, experience a UFOnium and maybe meet a new friend….

Corinbank Unplugged kicks off from 4pm at Honkytonks, Garema Place in the city. Every beer you drink helps Corinbank Take 2, so raise a glass and shout loudly and proudly “I believe in Corinbank” this Sunday at Honkytonks!
