CRK back behind bars

johnboy 12 June 2009 55

The ABC reports that the young man known only as “Clea Rose’s Killer” (or CRK for mine) is back behind bars after the police hunted him down.

He has been in jail awaiting sentencing for a spate of fresh crimes including theft, burglary, receiving stolen goods and property damage.

Two weeks ago he was released on bail to visit his ailing grandfather in Calvary Hospital but he absconded.

    Police recaptured him last night.

Having strained even the legendary mercy of Chief Justice Higgins he has been ordered back to the Hume Hilton.

There is far too much here identifying CRK’s real name, which is still AFAIK subject to a suppression order.

IOW, you’re going to be in the poo if you don’t clean a bit of this up.

Which is a bit ridiculous, seeing as he has outed himself as CRK on Facebook. Then again, ridiculous could be used to describe the justice system in Canberra.

I’m fairly sure the page was a mock page. The bit down the bottom was far too cogent.

I’m with HenryBG on this. The law may be an ass, but it is still the law.

Yeah, if that’s really his Facebook page, then I’m a monkey’s uncle.

Sorry ColourfulSydneyRacingIdentity, I was trying to quote you using the quote thingy and it didn’t work. I am still a newbie here and working it out.

sigh. Even though hes asking for forgiveness, his Facebook isn’t really helping. Sounds like he really needs to work on himself and who he hangs out with.

Interesting talk here about the background of the worst inmates in American gaols. Bit of a trend there apparently.

I have nothing to hide now. I throw myself down to the mercy of public opinion and ask for one-more-chance.

Brad

Just one more chance Bradley?

Apparently he pleaded as mitigating circumstances that he was suffering depression because of the media attention following CR’s death …. but the beak reminded him that his name had been suppressed and he was a juvenile at the time!

Can CRK please have the MULLY regardless of the numbers?

I had a gentle, kind and sorta wacky mate back in the early 1980s. He was a Vietnam veteran and he was a public servant and he was gay and he never hurt anybody but he was one of the first victims of HIV/AIDS in this country. When he died in his early 40s his remaining hair was white and he had no teeth left and he looked about 90 and I could barely recognise him. He was a great bloke and he suffered an awful awful fate that he surely didn’t deserve.

This’ll make me sound like 53 different kinds of bastard, but if that could happen to my friend who did nothing to deserve it, then I can only wish that the same fate befalls Mr CRK who I think may well deserve it.

That would depend on CRK having the enormously silly idea to take it up the arse.

Others may describe that as “unsurprising”.

Others may describe him as a total Potts-head!

For killing Clea Rose, he would have been locked up in Bimberi, not AMC. Even when he turned 18, he almost certainly would have served out his sentence in Bimberi. From what I can tell, he hasn’t been locked up in AMC before.

But rehabilitation in the adult corrections system is unlikely to work for this idiot. Given the length and content of the criminal history known to the community, the die was cast long before he turned 18. He won’t choose to reform, and will continue to be a plague on the community.

When can we reveal this bastard’s name without fear of retribution? He’s no longer a juvenile and therefore no longer entitled to anonymity.

It shows up in the google auto complete field if you search for “Clea Rose”.

Mr Evil, wake up its not a holiday home its a 21st century jail.. not a 1800’s ball and chain jail. Jail is a lot different now to say 50 years ago and this is what happens when EVERYONE presses their RIGHT to do things. Its not a hotel thats for sure have you been in there? or was BRC a hotel as well? I guess next you will say Golburn is as well and Bathurst..

But i bet you had a better chance at life than most the people in jail. We simply cant kill people or lock them up in segro for the whole time they are in jail. I mean i know for a fact that a lot of the people including some well known canberra criminals were sexually abused as kids, not given a proper education and not housed in a safe environment.. does that mean they are bad people? no – simply that they do not know any better. I cant see matt massey’s son becoming a QC can you? but is that his fault? no he does not know any better and this has been going on for most criminals throughout there entire family tree..

excuses excuses. There are plenty of people who have had a shity upbringing and don’t become career criminals.

Because theses low life’s get a slap on the wrist they think they can do anything they like when they like and get away with no consequences . Sure these people should get 1 or 2 chances at turning their life around but to continue to cotton wool them is absurd. I say after a couple of blown chances they should have to learn a lesson the hard way .

CRK can’t seem keep his nose clean for 3 months. I’m sure decent people are missing out on help because of scumbags like this guy sucking money out of the system and draining it dry..
