CRK back behind bars

By johnboy - 12 June 2009 55

The ABC reports that the young man known only as “Clea Rose’s Killer” (or CRK for mine) is back behind bars after the police hunted him down.

He has been in jail awaiting sentencing for a spate of fresh crimes including theft, burglary, receiving stolen goods and property damage.

Two weeks ago he was released on bail to visit his ailing grandfather in Calvary Hospital but he absconded.

    Police recaptured him last night.

Having strained even the legendary mercy of Chief Justice Higgins he has been ordered back to the Hume Hilton.

What’s Your opinion?

We all make choices in our lives. Some good. Some not so good. Some that we will really regret. I will concede that a crap upbringing as a child isn’t by any measure a great start in life, but like I said we all make choices.

I my mind. there’s nothing wrong in making a mistake – even a seriously bad one – as lomng as you’re preparted to live with the consequences and to learn from that mistake (which in my book means not making the same mistake twice).

I think that CRK has had his chances. He’s made his choices. Let him live with the outcome – without the do-gooders intervening to ‘give him one more go’.

Alright everyone, chill on the personal abuse and Chopper’s off to mod.

I wonder if the people like Chopper and Justice Higgins would still have the same warmth in their heart if a family member or friend was robbed/assulted/killed by people like CRK?

Chopper, as a person who had a shitty childhood (which I rarely discuss in detail), let me tell you that you are full of it.

Every has a choice in life.

Not every abused person becomes a criminal and not every criminal is an abused person.

I’m sick of the “they had a bad home life” mantra. Grow the F&^K up.

(But i bet you had a better chance at life than most the people in jail. We simply cant kill people or lock them up in segro for the whole time they are in jail. I mean i know for a fact that a lot of the people including some well known canberra criminals were sexually abused as kids, not given a proper education and not housed in a safe environment.. does that mean they are bad people? no – simply that they do not know any better. I cant see matt massey’s son becoming a QC can you? but is that his fault? no he does not know any better and this has been going on for most criminals throughout there entire family tree..)

Blow it out your Ass Chopper you and CRK should cop a good flogging, you for calling yourself chopper, and CRK because he needs to understand there is consequences for his stupidity for theres is no excuse for taking another persons LIFE.

Possibly and this case, yes. The only difference is that they may have better excuse in court.

Unfortunatly, i don’t prescribe to the hollywood misconception that they can be reformed, for the most part. I just finished reading a book called “Without Conscience: The Disturbing World of the Psychopaths Among Us” . The author belives that most of these types of people are fundamentally broken. They have no empathy or remorse, except for themselves.

Of course lots of criminals have shitty histories, and these no doubt contribute to their sorry state. BUT, there are a lot of people who have also had shitty upbringings, and manage to turn out OK, without continually breaking the law. We should definitely be helping these people, but these crims need to want to change too.

It’s not that these people don’t know better, most of them just don’t care.

Good comments, VY.

Mr Evil, wake up its not a holiday home its a 21st century jail.. not a 1800’s ball and chain jail. Jail is a lot different now to say 50 years ago and this is what happens when EVERYONE presses their RIGHT to do things. Its not a hotel thats for sure have you been in there? or was BRC a hotel as well? I guess next you will say Golburn is as well and Bathurst..

I hope they’ve fixed the heating at the Hume UN Approved Holiday Home for Naughty Boys so that CRK doesn’t get the snuffles.

He has just won the memorial S4anta award for oxygen thievery.

So, how many people did CJ Higgins sent to the Hume Hilton today, and what are their names and ages?

chewy14 1:50 pm 12 Jun 09

Oh come on,
can’t we just give the poor guy another chance?
