Date Night in Canberra?

By JMDubya - 4 June 2010 27

Hello All,

Was wondering if any one has any ideas for me to do for a date night?

Doesn’t have to be pricey and can be a bit lame as long as it’s fun!

Thanks!

What’s Your opinion?

go get a brodburger, grab a few cold ones on the way, sit by reconciliation place and enjoy the scenery. although that’s more of a summertime pursuit… unless you wanna cosy up under blanket.

Give her a good quality knife and a ten minute head start. If you don’t find her blubbering under a tree within a half hour, she’s a keeper and take her to Pancake Parlor and spare no expense!

Pizza and sex. Pizza optional.

Six-pack and a box of rubbers.

Combine these two suggestions for some fun…

Make sure it ends with a make out session at the top of Mt Ainslie.

Fame is on at the Q. It’s a bit lame but still lots of fun.

$35 early bird special at Chairman and Yip and then a movie, a good night out at about $50 a head

Pancake parlour. Sugar high is allways a winner.

If you and your date want to get competitive, there’s go-karting in both Fyshwick and Hume. Alternatively, if you want to get a little more immature and possibly learn a thing or two, you could always head over to Questacon!

Then again, there’s hundreds of restaurants to choose from. Not to mention cinema, theatre, lake cruise, pub crawl, 10-pin bowling, Intencity (that’s still around, yeah?), all those things on the “what’s on” guide…

Is it a first date or an established relationship ‘time-out’ together?

I’ve always found Debacle in Braddon to be good value.

Go to Queanbeyan.
Steal a car.
Bait a cop.
Drive really fast.
Hilarity ensues.
