Dinner and a Movie! Menulog delivering to Sunset Cinema

No time to pack a picnic for this year’s Sunset Cinema? No problem, Menulog has you covered!

Canberra’s favourite open-air cinema is back and better than ever, with Menulog named the official food partner for this year’s Sunset Cinema season. From 16 November to 23 December, Menulog will make it even easier to enjoy dinner and a movie under the stars, with delicious dishes from a range of partner restaurants available to order to the outdoor cinema at the touch of a button.

As Australia’s largest online delivery platform, with more than 150 restaurant partners across the ACT, Menulog knows Canberran’s favourite cuisines. Looking at local trends, Menulog will deliver Canberra’s top tastes from some of the most popular local restaurants to the Sunset Cinema throughout the 2017 season.

Thai is the clear favourite for Canberrans, with these sumptuous South East Asian dishes making up more than 30 percent of all local orders on the platform. Indian and Chinese round out the top three cuisines on Menulog, proving Canberrans really do like it hot! While Pizza reigns supreme in Sydney and Melbourne, stats show Canberrans prefer more exotic flavours, with Pizza just scraping in the top five for the ACT.

With this in mind, Menulog has lined up some local favourites to deliver the cities top cuisines:

Two Sisters Laos Thai – Civic will be serving up their authentic Thai cuisine. For something a little different and tantalizing, try one of the Loa selections such as the Som Tam papaya salad.

Turkish Pide & Kebabs – Lyneham will offer a mouthwatering selection of dips, bread, Turkish Pides, Kebabs and Meatballs.

Fish Shack – Civic is not just serving up fish and chips, their mains selections include Australian Wild Prawns, Soft Shell Crab and Salt & Pepper Squid.

Burger Hero – Braddon will have all your burger cravings covered from the classic Cheeseburger to the Gourmet Mediterranean Lamb.

There are a few little steps involved in getting dinner delivered right to your seat while you enjoy the films on offer this year which range from classics such as ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and ‘Dirty Dancing’ to the highly anticipated new release films such as ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and ‘Blade Runner 2049’:

1. Download the Menulog app from Google Play or the App Store
2. Place your order and add ‘Sunset Cinema’ to the delivery notes – very important!
3. On arrival at the cinema, get a table number from Menulog staff so your food can be delivered straight to your seat – also very important!
