OK, sure it’s the midweek side against a provincial team and could actually indicate he’s been consigned to the bench for the rest of the tour.
But a Brumby captaining the Wallabies is still a Brumby captaining the Wallabies.
UPDATED: OK, so not only did he captain them to a loss against a provincial side, but Phil Waugh has been named captain of the Test side. It was nice for a day.
