DIY wotz on guide for the weekend of the 24th of October 2013

Barcham 24 October 2013 12

There’s this thing that cool people do, it’s called the weekend.

It’s pretty wild and you should probably get up on that.

Trust me, if you haven’t tried it yet you have to give it a go. You’ll thank me later.

Or if you were weekending before it was cool, maybe you could help out by leaving some suggestions in the comments below?

Peace out.

Reminiscent of record clubs of the 1970’s, the Vinyl Lounge presents a diverse selection of folk, world, rock, funk and lounge from the Golden Age of vinyl – 1960s – 1980s.
NFSA curator Thorsten Kaeding has selected some tasty musical treats from his personal vinyl collection.

Bring along your own records for a spin in our shiny brand new Theaterette, and join NFSA Curators as they discuss the significance of an old medium in a new age.

THIS Sunday 27 October 2013 2.15 – 3.15pm
Venue: NFSA Theatrette
BYO: Vinyl

Future dates for The Vinyl Lounge:
Sunday 1 December 2013 2.30-3.30pm
Sunday 2 February 2014 2.30 – 3.30pm

The Vinyl Lounge is a new initiative for the NFSA. We would love you to be part of this gig. We would also love YOU to shape the next session of The Vinyl Lounge
