Defence is warning that they’re going to zoom three Hawk fighters down Anzac Parade as part of tomorrow’s commemorations.
What: Three Royal Australian Air Force Hawk aircraft will conduct a flypast over the Australian War Memorial in support of ANZAC Day commemorations.
When: Wednesday 25 April, approximately 11.45am
Fast jet path: The Hawks will fly from South-West to North-East up ANZAC Parade at a speed of 400 knots (approximately 740 kph) and at a height of 500 feet (approximately 150 metres) over the War Memorial. The Hawks will then depart over the Canberra CBD at high level.
So stay cool.
