Territory And Municipal Services are giving notice of their plans for garbage collection over the Easter/Anzac Day mega weekend:
“Residents that normally put their garbage and/or recycling bins out on a Friday should instead put their bins out on the kerb for collection by 7 am on Saturday 23 April 2011,” Mr Ware said.
“All other collections will be as normal including Easter Monday and the Anzac Day public holiday on
Tuesday 26 April 2011.“The following waste and recycling facilities will also be closed on Good Friday 22 April 2011:
— Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre
— Mitchell Resource Management Centre, Flemington Road, Mitchell.
— Corkhill Bros Green Waste Recycling Service, Mugga Lane
— Canberra Sand and Gravel Green Waste Recycling Service, Parkwood Road, Belconnen.“The Canberra Sand and Gravel commercial green waste operations at its Mitchell facility will be closed from Friday 22 April 2011 to Tuesday 26 April 2011.”
