St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn and ACTCOSS are co-hosting a community forum during Anti-Poverty Week.

Representatives from ACT Greens, ACT Labor, Canberra Liberals, and Independents for Canberra will outline how their parties, if elected, plan to tackle poverty in the ACT amidst the growing impacts of the cost-of-living crisis, the housing affordability crisis, and climate crisis.

The forum will be moderated to ensure a positive and constructive conversation. It will be open to the public and media, featuring a keynote address by Associate Professor Ben Phillips from the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods, who will discuss how poverty manifests in the ACT and what can be done to address it.

Authorised by Phillip Jones on behalf of St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn.
