European Multicultural Festival

The Australian Croatian Club, the Alliance Francaise of Canberra, and the White Eagle Polish Club will come together once again to celebrate European cultures in Turner!

Enjoy a selection of stalls offering traditional foods, products, and activities from all across Europe… all in one place! A day of fun activities – traditional Croatian dance, recitals for children, French music – will be set up in Turner from 11 am to 3 pm. The event is free and we are collecting for Ukraine relief.

Welcome to this second edition of the European Multicultural Festival!

The Australian Croatian Club will be showcasing:

  • Croatian Kolo Folklore dancing
  • Croatian Ethnic School Recital
  • Croatian Heritage Wines & Dalika Small Goods – Wine & food tasting event
  • O’Connor Knights Soccer Team
  • Food and Drink:
    • Croatian drinks
    • The Croatian “Mirna” kitchen will be open (pigs and lambs on the spit)
    • Cakes and Crepes

The Alliance Francaise of Canberra will be showcasing:

  • Recital pour les enfants / Laurie
  • Oriana choir
  • Storytelling for children
  • Food and Drink:
    • Crepes
    • French Food & wine

The White Eagle Polish Club showcasing:

  • Canberra Craft beer association
  • Wielkopolska Polish Dance Group Canberra
  • Ukranian stall
  • Latvian stall
  • Food and Drink:
    • Traditional polish food
    • Canberra’s largest European beer collection

So come along and be part of the biggest celebration of multiculturalism in Canberra. There will be food, drink, wine tasting, song and dance across the three venues.

Cost: Entry is free, however, donations for Ukraine will be appreciated.
