Because we are never too old to play, the Council of the Ageing is hosting a very special Play Outside Day at Haig Park on Saturday 3 September. This unique event will feature a variety of activities to cater to the most seasoned users of our public spaces.

Among the many exciting activities of the day you do not want to miss:

Free live music:

  • 12 pm – Brass on the grass
  • 1 pm – Speedy Reedies
  • 2 pm – Sax in the City
  • 3 pm – Tootie Flooties

Dancing and moving:

  • 12:30 pm – Tai Chi
  • 1:30 pm – ZEST: The Canberra Gold Dancers
  • 2:30 pm – ZEST: Musical Moves for Seniors
  • 3:30 pm – Strength for Life

Amazing performers:

  • Slo-Mo Cricket with Pablo Latona
  • Constance Spry’s Letter Writing Service
