The Goulburn Show is one of the largest community events in the region, offering a low cost, family fun weekend!
Running since 1880, in 2021 our Society will be celebrating its 141st year and we have some great entertainment!
Come and see Saturday’s Junior Showgirl and Show Master Showman Competition, and the Young Farmer’s Challenge, Noah’s Racing Pigs, Reptile Kingdom, Goldie the Clown, Fletcher’s Ark Animal Nursery – always a favourite for big and little kids!
See the Chainsaw Sculptor transform a tree stump into art, watch some traditional blacksmithing skills, catch the dog high jump on Saturday as the dogs jump to unbelievable heights, see classic cars and vintage farm machinery and watch the Alpaca Youth Paraders.
There’s flyball for yet more fast-paced canine fun, sheepdog trials, catch the awesome axe men and women at the woodchop on 10.30 am Sunday, and head to the Cattle Shop cattle clinic for some hands-on experience in preparing cattle for showing.
We’ve also got Australia’s biggest Boer goat show – the Southern Aurora Boer Goat Show, and there will be plenty of show jumping, equestrian events and sporting horses, two full days of ring events, animal exhibits, Bonsai demonstrations, pavilion exhibits, trade, industry, farm and machinery displays, sheep wool display, brewing and wine show, hand spinning & weaving demonstrations, there’s something for everyone at the Goulburn Show. And all the fun of sideshow alley and show bags!
