The Rise Above Convoy for cancer families is back again for 2021!

The annual event raises money and awareness for Rise Above – Capital Region Cancer Relief to support families in our region struggling with cancer. Every year hundreds of trucks and motorbikes take the journey from Beard Industrial Estate just outside of Queanbeyan and drive through Canberra to Exhibition Park.

The organisation of this year’s event is well underway and the date you need to lock in your calendar is Sunday 14th March.

While this year the post event concert at Exhibition Park won’t occur, the roar of engines through the capital will go on. We hope to see you all there, lining the streets and waving the convoy on in support of this great cause.

The convoy departs Beard Estate at 9:30 am, and travels the following route arriving at Exhibition Park at 12:30 pm. We recommend grabbing some snacks, and the kids of course, and choosing your favourite spot to watch the convoy roll on through.

Beard – Norse Road

Canberra Ave

Hindmarsh Drive

Monaro Highway

Parkes Way to Glenloch Interchange

Caswell Drive

GDE

Barton Highway

Federal Highway

Gate 4

Old Well Station Road – Exhibition Park

You can find information on how to bid to be this years’ lead truck, register a vehicle for the convoy or personally pledge to Rise Above’s Cancer Convoy to contribute to relieving the financial pressures placed on our regions cancer patients and their families at Rise Above.
