To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The X-Files TV series, which began in 1993, join us for a special screening of the first thrilling movie in the franchise, The X-Files: Fight the Future.
While investigating a bomb threat, FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) are warned that the bomb was used as a cover-up for an alien virus that may lead to an extraterrestrial invasion of Earth.
As secret government forces conspire to stop Mulder and Scully, the two agents must keep one step ahead and rely on each other to discover the truth – and save the world.
‘Like the TV show, The X-Files movie is stylish, scary, sardonically funny and at times just plain gross’ – Washington Post
Presented on a 35mm film print from the NFSA collection.
