Immerse yourself in a series of fully guided weaving workshops, empowering you with a sense of connection and the opportunity to experience and heal through traditional culture.
Join Ronnie from Culture On the Move, for a five week series of workshops where she will take you through the whole weaving process from plant identification and collection, to completion of woven works.
There are only 15 spots available, so get in quick!
Week 1: Collecting of plants in Conservation Corridor, plant Identification, learning how to prepare fibres for weaving.
Week 2: Learning how to coil weave.
Week 3: Continue weaving, sharing cultural knowledge on weaving and plant use.
Week 4: Continue weaving using plant fibres that have been collected on Ginninderry site.
Week 5: Finish end product & reflection.
