OPEN INVITATION THIS SUNDAY 6 NOVEMBER 2011 – FIRST BLOKE’S XI vs AUSTRALIAN TRANSPLANT CRICKET CLUB
Pack up a picnic and bring the family and friends this Sunday 6 November 2011 to Phillip Park, Woden to cheer on the First Bloke’s XI versus the Australian Transplant Cricket Club from 11am – 4pm.
The Prime Minister’s partner Tim Mathieson will lead the ‘First Bloke’s XI’ against the Australian Transplant Cricket Club (ATCC). The Club is an inspiring team of cricketers who are all organ and tissue transplant recipients and have been given a “second innings of life”.
The 2011 ATCC Team recently toured England as an official Australian team and successfully regained the David Hookes Memorial Shield from the Great Britain Transplant Cricket Club.
Come along and enjoy the match in a fun and relaxed atmosphere and cheer on the players for a good cause – raising awareness of organ and tissue donation.
Entry is free.
