Forecast wet weather puts the kibosh on roadworks

TAMS are warning that the weather forecast is so bad they’re going to have to stop digging up roads:

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that the temporary road closure scheduled for Gungahlin Drive, from 1 pm Saturday 1 June to 6 am Monday 3 June, have been postponed due to the forecast wet weather.

Both northbound lanes of Gungahlin Drive were due to be closed for road re-surfacing between the intersections at Well Station Drive and Kosciuszko Avenue.
