Gas leak in Phillip

The following in from the ESA:

10:55am Tuesday 11 May 2010 – Small gas leak at Phillip ACT Fire Brigade on scene of a small gas leak on Furzer St, Phillip.

Leak has been isolated. Approx 20 people evacuated from building.

ACT Fire Brigade Hazmat crews currently conducting air monitoring and ventilation of building.

Time of Emergency Triple Zero (000) call at 10.21am.

UPDATE: And resolved now:

11:30am Tuesday 11 May 2010 – Update on small gas leak ACT Fire Brigade has deemed the area safe and people have returned to building.

One patient was assessed by the ACT Ambulance Service but did not require transport to hospital.

Cause was a small natural gas line that was cut with vapour drawn into the air conditioning system.
