Andrew Barr has let it be known that Nightfest is upon us, and you may buy tickets for it now.
Tickets to Canberra’s annual moonlit extravaganza, Floriade NightFest, go on sale today.
Now in its sixth consecutive year, Floriade’s ticketed twilight event will showcase stellar light shows and a great line up of well-known comedians and DJs.
Visitors can wander through the night markets, see the garden beds illuminated in colour and chill out with a cocktail while listening to some smooth tunes.
Every night the enchanting evening destination, The Moonlight Lounge, will feature top entertainment such as Melbourne-based stand-up comedian Felicity Ward – best known for her work in Channel 10’s The Ronnie Johns Half Hour and ABC’s Spicks and Specks – and Matt Okine, who was recently named Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Floriade NightFest’s new destination, the Electric Theatre, will wow audiences with thrilling circus acts, dramatic lighting and an awesome array of live music. Take in the stunning views from the 35-metre ferris wheel and interact with roving performers such as the serene Cloudmen and the delightful Space Ballerinas.
