Would you like to be paid an allowance while gaining skills, training and experience that can help you enter the workforce, improve your career opportunities or further your education and training?
Then the GREEN ARMY is for you.
The Green Army is an Australian Government initiative open to young people including Indigenous Australians, school leavers, gap year students, graduates and job seekers who are looking to develop skills, undertake training and gain experience in the delivery of conservation and heritage projects. Through this, participants will enhance opportunities for careers and further training in conservation and heritage management.
Several projects are commencing in the Canberra region soon. Projects include erosion control, planting, weed control, water monitoring, rabbit mapping + more.
