The Canberra and Region Heritage Festival kicked off today in Civic.
In 2013 Australia’s national capital the symbol of the country’s recent federation, democratic freedom, achievements and aspirations is 100 years old. Canberra is one of the most successful planned cities in the world and now home to some 370,000 residents.
To celebrate this important time for all Australians, the National Trust (ACT) has developed an exciting program for 2013. This program highlights Canberra’s colourful history and its more recent achievements.
