The swish new design and re-branding of the Canberra Outlet Centre has attracted new high-end retail players, with Homemakers Fine Furniture opening a state-of-the-art showroom with an extensive furniture, bedding and accessories range of luxury national and international brands.

The store has been quietly open for a few months, with the owners buying up copious amounts of rugs, mattresses, recliners, electric lift chairs, leather lounge suites, artwork, dining settings, and loads more in preparation for their massive grand opening sale.

The time has come and the sale has just started, with the store offering savings of up to 50% plus a huge range of special offers, including: free leather and fabric care, free delivery, and 60 day-no pay home trials. There’s even a $2,500 holiday to be won.

Geoffrey Poole, Owner and Manager of the store, says “We’re so excited for Canberrans to see the new store and benefit from the grand opening prices!

“Because of where we are, Canberra often gets short-changed when it comes to accessing quality, high-end furniture brands. But we have built exceptional relationships with our suppliers, and worked tirelessly to get the best products at the best possible prices. Being a true independent retail group, we also don’t need to pass on expensive franchise fees, so our customers get lower prices every day.”

  • E-Z-WAY

  • Tessa
  • Garstone
  • Sleepmaker
  • Sealy
  • Tempur
  • Stafford and Mason
  • HTL

The store also has a huge range of dining and bedroom furniture made from quality Australian hardwood, such as: Tasmanian Oak, Blackwood, Marri, Messmate, Great Oak and Chestnut.

“Homemakers is a big group with over 77 stores nationwide. And the store in Fyshwick is definitely one of the largest,” says Geoff.

“We have no hesitation in saying that it’s the best quality furniture store in Canberra. There’s just so much to choose from, and while the quality is superb, the prices are reasonable. We also have a great team with a lot of experience and passion for our products and brand names.

“It’s a pleasure to have set up shop in the Canberra Outlet Centre. The new owners have done a terrific job, and we’re so excited to have this opening and let everyone know we’re here. It’s been a lot of hard work, but the results are truly worth it, and this sale is a unique opportunity for customers to purchase long-lasting luxury brand names at extraordinary prices.”

The Homemakers Fine Furniture Grand Opening Sale is on now. The store is open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm at Shop 17 Canberra Outlet Centre, Fyshwick.
