The heads are by an artist named Dadang Christanto, the NGA also has another work by him in the Asian art galleries, yet im unsure if it is currently on display. Is called Red Rain.

Was that photo taken at the Sculpture Gardens, or whatever they call it at the NGA these days? (Your post mentions the NGA).

If so, what’s the deal with the head? I didn’t see it last time I was there…

When I take Nattie down to the lake early in the morning on occasion, she generally barks at the ducks and they just quack back. At times it seems like they’re teasing her with their coming close and swimming away antics.

They don’t appear to be interested in the head…although a photo of a duck sitting on the head would be interesting.
