Investigations continue into a death at QT hotel

ACT Police are investigating the death of a 29-year-old-man after it is believed he fell from his balcony at the QT Hotel on Sunday 13^th.

Police responded to a call at 2:50am about an injured man on the lower level roof at the QT hotel in New Acton. The man was staying in a hotel room directly above where he was found.

The man was treated by police and paramedics at the scene and was transported to Canberra Hospital for medical treatment. The 29-year-old was pronounced dead on Tuesday the 15^th.

Police had already responded to a call earlier in the night at 2:00am about a disturbance at the QT Hotel.

Police are still investigating the circumstances around the man’s death and ask that anyone with information about the death to please contact them on 131 444.
