Man charged with trafficking methamphetamine

A 38-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday (13 September) charged with drug trafficking.

The man was stopped by police and searched in Aranda on Thursday night (12 September), where they found a trafficable quantity of methamphetamine.

It is also alleged that the man was in possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime.

The man has been charged with trafficking in a controlled drug, possession of a knife without reasonable excuse and possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime.

He is the third person to be charged with drug trafficking in the space of two days after ACT Policing arrested a man and a woman in Gordon for trafficking methamphetamine.
