NSW Police are reporting that a man was shot dead in Murrumbateman on Monday night.
Emergency services were called to a home on Murrumbateman Road, Murrumbateman, at about 10:00 pm on Monday (9 August) following reports a man had been shot.
“On arrival, officers from the Hume Police District found a 52-year-old man suffering a fatal gunshot wound,” police said in a statement released around four hours later.
A 52-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and has been taken to Yass Police Station where she is currently assisting detectives with their inquiries.
Investigations are continuing.
