Man falls from scaffolding in Gungahlin, stable in hospital

ACT Ambulance Service have attended to an industrial accident on the corner of Gozzard and Ernest Cavanagh St in Gungahlin.

Crews arrived to find a 25-year-old male had fallen three metres from scaffolding.

Following a difficult extrication, the man was stabilised on scene by intensive care paramedics and transported in a stable condition to The Canberra Hospital with lower back and pelvis injuries, where he will receive further treatment.

Crews were alerted following an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call made just after 10:24am.

WorkSafe ACT have been alerted to the incident.
