Meteor/Fireball filmed over Canberra

I saw it, had enough time to point it out to the Wife who also got to view it. I tried to put the details into that online form referenced in the OP, but the form sucks from my phone- intermittent ability to accept keypad input. Lots of swearwords before I gave up.
Nice low arc to the south- heading west, bright and slow(ish), at least 4 seconds of viewing after it came into view. From my perspective it didn’t blow up or disintegrate, just seemed to drop below the burn-zone. Best one I’ve ever seen.
I figured it fell in the Brindies, was surprised to see the captured footage on the news showing it passing pretty much overhead in way south Canberra.

Ripper! You know, I reckon that at some point the object would’ve been sixty feet above the ground. Just hangin’ around. 🙂

I saw this and wondered what it was! I was driving down erindale dr, just about to turn left onto Ashley drive and it looked like it was right above Erindale. Big flash of light, then a shower of sparks. I thought it might have been a flare or something.
