Local rock act Barrel of Monkeys are set to play what could be deemed the worst show ever this Saturday at Pete’s Bar and Tavern.
“We are putting on four really bad bands, including us, that we think yous [sic] the punter will absolutely hate, we are all just really horrendous” Barrel of Monkeys cross dressing bass player Planet Planet has said. “On top of that we are only giving away two free beers to the first forty punters. That’s eighty one beers, we really pride ourselves on being tight arses”.
The band is set to play alongside Sydney siders Soma and local boys Embryonic and A Nessesary Evil.
When asked what was so bad about the bands ” Really we (Barrel of Monkeys) are just a bunch of rock wannabe poofters [sic], Soma are just too bloody loud, Embryonic are a talentless crew of boy band tryhards and well I like to refer to A Nessary Evil as an Unnessary Evil, which I think speaks novels. ” Mr Planet said.
