More trouble at ADFA

By johnboy 21 June 2013 23

The ABC has a story on mass suspensions at ADFA over an unspecified “off-campus incident”:

“It appears that the incident is linked to a group of male cadets and midshipmen that is operating contrary to the values and standards expected of the ADF members and of future leaders,” he said.

“As this investigation is ongoing I cannot go into any further details about the nature of the allegations except to say that if substantiated the conduct is unacceptable and it is not in keeping with the expectations of future leaders of the Australian Defence Force.

“Conduct of this nature has consequences and it will not be tolerated.”

Air Marshal Binskin says 20 cadets and midshipmen are involved from all three Defence services in all three years of ADFA training and he expects more will be suspended in coming days.

Surely its only a problem if people were forced and unwilling, which actually isnt mentioned anywhere. Or because its done in a public place. Otherwise, is it a problem cos military men dont do things to other military men?
