The Abbey and the Sass and Tease Collective present Jay Gatsby Requests, a night of dancing girls, drunken writers, and of course music.
Jay Gatsby Requests is a new show created by a collection of Canberra’s finest burlesque performers, and features those loveable lads Moochers Inc.

Created by the Sass & Tease Collective, an assemblage of some of Canberra’s most diverse performers, and featuring burlesque, cabaret and appearances by some of the Age’s lost generation, this night will be like no other that you have seen before.
If you thought that the twenties were just about fringed dresses and speakeasy gin, then come and join us as we unveil some of its steamier layers, whilst still celebrating the style and sophistication that you would expect of those living in the Jazz Age.
Featuring live music from Moochers Inc. and a variety of performances that will tease and seduce you, this is a show with everything that you could hope for, but not necessarily what you would expect.
