On Tuesday afternoon I rode for the first time across the new bridge which is part of the upgrade/redevelopment of the Cotter Road as part of the new suburbs being built north of Duffy and east of Mt Stromlo.
The new bit of road is connected to the old road with some temporary surfacing which has quite a lot of loose gravel on it, and was quite exciting on the motorcycle, even at the reduced speed limit, so I would advise anyone to be a little careful till traffic sweeps it away.
This morning while crossing the nice new bridge I saw that they have already demolished the old bridge….
