Newborn Intensive Care Unit Cruise for Charity

I found this at my local servo, at the counter, didn’t know if anyone else had seen it…

    When: Sunday 16th November

    Where: Start at Phillip Ice Skating Rink car park, Irvine Street Phillip.

    Finish at Cotter for a Snag Sizzle

    Time: 11.00 am at Phillip, leaving there to cruise to Cotter at 12.00pm

    1.00pm sizzle starts

    Charity Cruise Stickers are available on the day. All money made by the stickers will be donated to the NICU. There will be a snag sizzle at the cotter. All money raised from this will also be donated to the NICU. There will be directions for the cruise handed out on the day.

    If you cannot make it to the cruise and would still like to make a donation, please contact the organiser on 0400 422 238

    Every Cent will help raise money for the equipment needed for the NICU and will be greatly appreciated.

    All Cars, Trucks, Bikes etc welcome, no-one will discriminate your ride.

    Raffle and lots of prizes on the day. Prizes to be advised.

For those who want to donate but can’t attend. You can now donate at Ozzy Tyres in Fyshwick. We have a tin on the counter that you can drop our money into and we will pass it onto the organisers.

I also have a bunch of flyers that describe the cruise route and what is happening in detail.

shame that we have to resort to fundraising for what should be paid and supplied by the ACT government…

Im pretty sure this has been organised by the RUSH HOUR people.

The ones who were all over the news with mass ‘cruises’.

At least they are doing it for a cause I guess.
